The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake Trailer Has Us Reaching for Our Ocarinas
Okay, we need a minute. Nintendo just dropped a new trailer for the Ocarina of Time remake as part of the Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct, and honestly? We’re not sure our hearts can take it. For a generation of gamers, Hyrule Field wasn’t just a level, it was a childhood. Kokiri Forest wasn’t just a tutorial zone, it was home. And now that world is coming back, rebuilt from the ground up, on Nintendo Switch 2.
There’s something magical about watching a game this beloved get a genuine second life instead of just a graphical touch-up. This isn’t a port. It’s a full reimagining, and the trailer makes it clear Nintendo isn’t treating this remake lightly. Every frame feels like it was made with real reverence for what made the original a defining moment in gaming history.
We won’t pretend we’re not already counting down the days. Whether you first played this game on a chunky N64 controller decades ago or you’re about to experience Hyrule for the very first time, this release feels like an event. Mark your calendars for November 5th, because Game Crazy will absolutely be there on day one, ocarina emoji and all.
Stay tuned, friends. Hyrule is calling, and we’re answering. 🌿🎵
