Sonic Adventure 2 escapes the city and takes refuge on Steam
Sonic Adventure 2 followed its rainbow all the way to Steam this week, landing on the digital PC platform for $9.99. The XBLA/PSN add-on content pack “Battle Mode” is also available on Steam for $2.99, adding six extra characters and 21 two-player battle maps from GameCube’s Sonic Adventure Battle.
The platformer’s jump to Steam may also indicate the imminence of Nights HD, a fellow Sonic Heritage Collection member and confirmed for PC this past summer. Both games flew onto PSN and XBLA last month, with Sega noting they’d arrive on PC in the coming months.
