Rocksmith dropping the bass on August 14
Thus far, Rocksmith’s digital training chops have been restricted to the electric guitar, but starting later this month, would-be virtuosos will finally be able to slap some bass with a new expansion. The expansion promises to help bassists “improve their skills like 2-finger plucking, slapping, and popping with dedicated bass technique challenges, tutorial videos and mini-games.” Furthermore, all on-disc and DLC songs that feature a bass track will automatically support the expansion, meaning Rocksmith owners already have an available library of compatible songs.
