Nvidia unveils new super PC graphics card GeForce GTX 690
Nvidia’s unveiled its brand new ultra high-end PC graphics card, the GeForce GTX 690. It costs a pocket destroying $999, and launches 3rd May. The GeForce GTX 690 has two Kepler GPU chips on one card. Power needs and heat are kept minimal by custom built vapour chamber heat sinks (miniature water cooling) and one central fan. And the whole unit is contained within a snazzy and functional black/silver box – a mix of cast aluminium and chrome plating, and injection moulded magnesium alloy. Read more…
