Nintendo offers free eShop games to 3DS XL owners in Europe
In freebie news, Nintendo is giving away an eShop game download to European 3DS XL owners. Provided new owners register their chunky consoles with Club Nintendo, they’ll be entitled to a free download code for Super Mario 3D Land, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Freakyforms Deluxe, New Art Academy, or New Style Boutique. Early adopters needn’t fret, as the offer also applies to systems already bought and registered.
Systems must be registered by January 15, 2013, and the download code can only be redeemed in January 2013. If you don’t live in the UK & Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, or Russia, there’s no freebie code for you, sadly.
