Japan chart: Vita crawls past 500k mark

The PlayStation Vita recorded its lowest sales figures to date last week in Japan, though it has now passed the 500,000 mark. Sony’s new handheld sold 18,361, down from 42,915 the week prior. That put it in fourth place in the hardware chart, with 3DS in first, PlayStation 3 second and PSP third. It was a slow week all round, with the Christmas/New Year sales bump finally winding down.
