Double Dragon: Neon announced for PSN, XBLA
Vintage side-scrolling beat ’em up series Double Dragon gets a makeover on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade this July, publisher Majesco has announced. As detailed on IGN, Double Dragon: Neon stays true to the franchise’s roots, offering old-school left-to-right scrapping. Expect a traditional combo system and an arsenal of familiar weaponry to pick up, including baseball bats, whips and hand grenades. As hinted at by the title, it’s a knowingly retro affair so prepare for a retina-scorching ’80s day-glo vibe, complete with tinny hair metal soundtrack. Read more…
