In amongst all the doom and gloom of the UK high street, a Currys PC World in London (Tottenham Court Road) is trying something new – maybe even future-facing.It’s not the most radical idea: a 500 sq ft basement area – excitingly labelled as a Gaming Bunker – given over to 10 networked and powerful custom built PCs that will play the latest games (Borderlands 2, Hawken, League of Legends, Planetside 2, etc).They’re up-and-running demonstrations of more than 150 PC-related products the shop sells. That incorporates all of the components inside the PCs as well as those without – things like headphones, mice and keyboards.
