Baldur’s Gate Extended Edition dev eyes Icewind Dale
The developer behind Baldur’s Gate Extended Edition is interested in tackling much-loved role-playing game Icewind Dale – but only if its current efforts are successful. Beamdog chief Trent Oster, formerly of BioWare, tweeted about Icewind Dale, released in 2000 and developed by Black Isle Studios under the Dungeons & Dragons ruleset. “The topic of Icewind Dale has come up a number of times,” Oster said. “We are interested, but first we need #bgee to succeed.” Read more…
